different state with different celebration
When it comes to Aidilfitri.. different states have their own style and uniqueness of celebration
As for me, I'm from Terengganu and this is my story...

The last day of Ramadhan...
usually, all of our family members, siblings and relatives from the city arrived home that day..
crowded the house, turning the surrounding into a festive.
Why not? when the kids meet their same year cousins. they turn the house into their playground. they  play hide and seek, running ( Tho Berambak & Tho Duduk ). Turning the chickens into their playmates, they catch them, let them free and then catch them again.
The kids and the chickens have a really good time until the chicken turn into their meal in the first morning of Syawal.
The kids don't realize it...



As for the adults,
there's no rest for them
Since the moment they arrive until the first day of Syawal, they do the cleaning, decorating and cooking.. talk about cooking, people from Terengganu have variety of food that must have in their menu during Syawal.
"Rendang" food that must have during Syawal. But, it is in complete without its partner...

As for the side dishes...


"satay" is one of the food that usually people from Terengganu serve their guest.

it is usually served with " nasi kapit" completed with the gravy   ( kuah kacang)
